More Backyard Visitors

Here are a few more visitors that showed up in my backyard Sunday afternoon. The Black-headed Grosbeaks have been showing up for a couple of days now. This was a FOY on the Western Tanager, Chipping Sparrows and MacGillivray's Warbler. I've also seen a male Bullock's Oriole but only once. Still a few Lazuli Buntings, Pine Siskins, Yellow Warblers, House Finches, Cassin's Finches and Cedar Waxwings making a daily appearance. American Robins are regulars to the bath and surprisingly quite approachable. I've been able to walk within 10 feet of them as I go into the garage without them leaving the bird bath. Owls are still around but I'm not hearing or seeing any sign of young.

Black-chinned Hummingbird
I've got a couple of Black-chinned Hummingbirds along with a Broad-tailed Hummingbird coming into the feeders. It has been enjoyable observing the hummingbirds coming into the bird bath trying to dip into the water to bath. Also saw another Hermit Thrush but could not get any photos of it.
