Utah Lake State Park and Them Backyard Birds

After seeing Matt Pendleton & Kenny Frisch's posting of Utah Lake, on U-bird I realized I had photographed some of the species they had mentioned and I hadn't mentioned them on my outing post. One was the Sanderling and the Semipalmated Sandpiper. Also photographed a Solitary Sandpiper. The clouds made for a challenging time for photographing as the birds would be in the sunlight then into the shade of the clouds. It was a great morning for birding and I got to make some new acquaintances with some of the local birders, with one being Laurie Joseph who kindly showed me some nearby birding spots that were new to me.
Here is a mixture of photographs from my day at the lake and then some from backyard Sunday evening when I had 5 Western Tanagers using the bird bath along with a lone Black-headed Grosbeak that got put into it's place as to who's bird bath this was. Also had a surprise visit from a 1st year Bullock's Oriole.
